Indeed, Amazon Make Bigger Splashes With Q3 TV Advertising

Ahead of its new Q3 report, iSpot shared a list of the top 10 advertisers on TV last quarter by ad impressions. Most notable on that list: Indeed gains 23 spots year-over-year while leaning heavily on cable news, while Amazon – not including Amazon Prime – and Target look to make a bigger splash on TV pre-holiday season.

Some of the other major takeaways from movement among iSpot’s list of the most-seen advertisers in Q3:

  • Amazon’s increase is fueled by an early holiday push, plus increased exposure during NFL games — and its year-over-year impressions grow even more when accounting for Amazon Prime Video (No. 18 advertiser for the quarter, up 186 spots vs. Q3 2021).

  • Arby’s (up 37 spots) and Google Pixel (+80) were additional brands that made huge year-over-year leaps with new campaigns landing them among the 20 most-seen for Q3.

  • Speaking directly to Disney’s emphasis on streaming growth, Disney+ also jumps into the top 20 at No. 17, which is up 26 spots year-over-year.
