Yellowstone’s Peak Performance On TV

With Yellowstone’s season five premiere right on the horizon, we used data from VIZIO’s Inscape to quantify the success of the hit Paramount Network show. During season four – Nov. 7, 2021-Jan. 2, 2022 – Yellowstone was No. 11 among all programs by watch-time. The show also accounted for nearly 64% of minutes watched on Paramount Network during that timeframe.

Inscape also looked at viewership for the show during the summer, when Paramount Network milked its popularity through a few weekend rerun marathons. (Data is for May 28 through Sept. 5, 2022 and includes all dayparts).

  • Yellowstone was the No.1 most-watched program on Paramount Network, with 274 episodes aired in total that captured 24.5% of all minutes watched.

  • Each time Paramount aired a Yellowstone marathon, the show jumped into the top 50 ranking of programs on TV by watch-time across all networks for that TV week.
