A Cannes-Do Attitude
Next week, TVREV is going to Cannes, which is, after all, in Europe, and so we are taking over this edition of Marconi to fill you in on our many, many plans.
Monday — Wednesday, you can stop by the Fabric Innovation Studio at the Majestic Sponsored by Madhive (FISTMaSpoByM, for short) to meet and greet and watch the sausage being made in a series of one-on-one video chats with industry leaders.
Interviewers include Evan Shapīro, Mike Shields, Jon Watts, Jason Damata, Spencer Potts and Alan Wolk.
On Monday, Alan Wolk will be moderating a first-ever closed-door roundtable on contextual at the Wurl cabana.
On Tuesday, starting at 9:30AM, we will be hosting our first ever Collab with ad tech heroes Marketecture and their anonymous deity. RSVP here
Alan Wolk will kick off the day with The Keynote That Rocked The Stream TV Show: Life After the Monoculture: How to Survive the Dark Ages of Media
We’ll also have interviews with LG’s Tony Marlow, Vizio’s Travis Hockersmith, Comscore’s Jackelyn Keller, iSpot’s Stu Schwartzapfel, LinkedIn’s Lee Womer, Madhive’s Christiana Cacciapuoti, Truthset's Scott McKinley, Olympusat’s Sebastian Trujillo, and iSpot’s Emily Wood.
Later on Tuesday, at 4pm, Alan Wolk is going to be emceeing and moderating the Titan OS Advertising Summit at Cannes Lions at the Martinez— an hour of panels giving insight to the global state of the market followed by plentiful food and drinks. RSVP here.
Outside of that, we are shooting a video series with LG Ad Solutions entitled The Creative Equation: Where Science Meets Storytelling about the changes streaming data will have on TV ad creative.
We’re also shooting a series with our Thought Leaders Circle members called “On Creativity” which documents creative solutions to business issues.
We’ve got a whole slew of teenagers this year—outfitted in matching t-shirts—who will be pointing cameras at industry leaders and asking them explain what their company actually does. (Hilarity ensues.)
Please come check us out during the week and say hi!
