Director/Cinematographer Vincent Peone About Vogue Streamy Winner "73 Questions"

Creator Joe Sabia and 73 Questions – Vogue's hot video series featuring one several-minute-take of, yes, 73 questions posed to a celebrity – won Streamy Awards for cinematography and best Pop Culture video series over the weekend.Though each episode features a big name such as Cindy Crawford, Sean "Diddy" Combs or Lady Gaga, arguably the videography itself – shot while following a celebrity through their home, office, hotel or other private place –  is just as big a star.So when Sabia, a VP of development for Conde Nast Entertainment, and producer Marina Cukeric took to Streamy's stage in Los Angeles to accept their award Monday night, both made a point of thanking the series' director of photography, Vincent Peone. Turns out that I interviewed Peone 11 months ago to the day about 73 Questions, his work as a commercial director for Big Block (he now has his own production company, ArtClass) and all the other projects he has up his sleeve. The original podcast was one of my first for Bloom in Tech. Back then, it was only  available on Soundcloud (and still is there if you want it). These days, though, my podcast is much more widely available, across 10 platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and others as well as the nifty podcast creation/syndication service Anchor.fm.To hear my conversation with Peone, go to my page on Anchor here, or look for Bloom in Tech on your favorite podcast platform. Chances are I'm there (and thankful for it). In the meantime, give a listen to my conversation with Vincent. Peone is an interesting guy and now 73 Questions is a Streamy winner, which is pretty cool.
